About Bob Cahalan


- Lifetime area resident, raised in Ambridge and Hopewell


- He and wife live in McCandless, have one adult daughter


- Retired from North Allegheny as 9th and 10th grade social studies teacher


- Attended Edinboro State University (ESU), graduate work completed at ESU and
University of Pittsburgh


- Served 32 years in Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, retired in 2010 at rank of
colonel


- Currently still active as volunteer as liaison officer for the Air Force Academy


- Currently still works as a substitute teacher
